Most of my finished models are composed from a high-detailed base model often combined with several pre-made models. Examples for my sci-fi models related to '4th Moon Of Xyth' include various turrets and engines which can be used on different ships. Such models which are present in various 3D-scenes then only need to be created once, saving alot of time when making new scenes.
Some of these are available for free from my pages at Renderosity.

Models are available as 3DS max 6 or 7 file or as .3ds object, due to the export to this file type, smoothing groups may need adjustment depending on which software you use to import them.
